Market records lowest daily turnover

The holiday shortened week began on Monday with the market recording a turnover of Rs.132 million, lowest turnover recorded since November 2009. Asiri Surgical Hospital recorded the day's highest turnover of Rs.9.3 million with approximately 1.1 million shares traded.

Day's second largest turnover of Rs.8.5 million was recorded by JKH with 40,788 shares traded during the day.

The counter closed down at Rs.209.10 after trading between Rs.209.00 and Rs.210.00.

Market closed with both indices recording marginal gains as both ASPI and MPI closed up by 3.01 points and 2.86 points respectively.
