Ruthless DVD launched:
Another counter to pro-LTTE media
Sri Lanka has proved that all material and video
clips against Sri Lanka are false, although the pro-LTTE
international media such as Channel Four and diaspora had unleashed
adverse publicity against the three Forces and the government, Media
Centre for National Security (MCNS) Director General Lakshman
Hulugalle said.

Housing complex fire kills two
A fire which broke out around 2.30am yesterday
in an apartment in a housing complex in Wellawatte, claimed the
lives of two persons. The fire brigade put out the fire with the
assistance of Wellawatte Police and prevented it from spreading to
other apartments.
