Dream of Sri Lankan Youth

I had a dream, I have a dream.
The dream for peace,
The dream for prosperity.

It was a full moon night,
island fully immersed,
A divine soul raises,
From the musical waves of sea
surrounding Sri Lanka.

Journey to North, South,
East and West and touches 20 million hearts,
And removes the pain with compassion.

And the divine soil echoes,
Oh, Sri Lanka, Oh youth of Sri Lanka,
If God is for us, who can be against

You Sri Lankan, radiate everywhere
compassion and love
To every heart in Sri Lanka,
That beautiful compassionate touch
Will bring prosperity and peace.
