PM opens 'Interior Design Mall'
An all-new concept known as 'Interior Design Mall', was opened by
Prime Minister D M Jayaratne and Minister Duminda Dissanayake at Colombo
7 to welcome its eager customers recently.

The response received from the public, opening Interior Design Mall
Managing Director Mohammed Rushmi Sacquaff said, "We never expected the
response we are receiving and it is unbelievable. We cater to both the
middle and upper classes, foreigners, diplomats and hoteliers. We
thought it was only a seasonal demand, but there has been enquiries even
after the festive season." This is our first interior Studio and is the
first time that a concept of this was introduced to Sri Lanka," he
explained.
We always like to working with architects and get their advice, to
enhance the product and need not compete with anyone due to the quality
we deal with and the interior concepts available under one roof.
We promote a wide variety of concepts be it traditional or modern,"
he added.
The intention of opening this mall, according to Rushmi Sacquaff, is
to facilitate interior design solutions and prevent customers from going
to various places in search of better offers.
Geared with a very professional team of Interior Designers who can
make your dream a reality. Professional interior designers from
Singapore is available for special projects like hotels, apartments,
shopping complex, corporate office and showrooms are available, Rushmi
Sacquaff indicated.
We work in collaboration with many big brand companies to provide
solutions; be it fabrics, pantry cupboards, mattress, solid timber
furniture, wooden flooring lighting, marble and granite, cement
furniture, handicrafts, making available all the top designer products
and masterpieces in Sri Lanka," reiterated Rushmi Sacquaff.
Interior Design Mall Managing Chairman Jagath N Wijeratne explaining
the service they provide said, provide customers with interior designers
who visit homes and provide advice with regard to how they could design
their homes and provide the best solutions to the customer to suit their
budget. All activities involved in the process, providing the right
package to our customers such as colour co-ordination, installation, the
