Joint Asia Europe shipping services
United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) and CMACGM have concluded an
agreement on the CMACGM’s FAL1 service whereby UASC will deploy 2 x
13,500 Teu vessels. The total number of vessels deployed in the
FAL1/AEC2 service will increase from 10 to 11 vessels.
The port coverage is as follows: Ningbo, Shanghai, Xiamen, Nansha,
Hong Kong, Chiwan, Yantian, Port Kelang, Tangier, Southampton, Hamburg,
Bremerhaven, Zeebrugge, Rotterdam, Le Havre, Malta, Khor Fakkan, Jebel
Ali, Ningbo.
UASC will in addition through slot swap arrangements also take up
slots on FAL3/AEC7. The port coverage is as follows: Dalian, Xingang,
Pusan, Qingdao, Shanghai, Vung Tau, Singapore, Port Kelang, Le Havre,
Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Zeebrugge, Rotterdam, Southampton, Jeddah, Port
Kelang, Singapore, Dalian.
The cooperation will commence from Asia as from the last week of
February 2012.
