Army go out favourites against Ratnam SC

Sri Lanka Army SC who tops the points table will not doubt live upto expectations when they meet Ratnam SC on Saturday at Seewali Ground, Ratnapura as Dialog Champions League 2011 , stage 2 kicks off in several venues. The 2008 winner Army SC is leading the points table with 24 points while two time champions Ratnam SC are in pursuit with 22 points.

Sri Lanka Air Force vs Renown SC match will be played at Baddegana Football complex on the same day.

Saunders SC who dominated the points table at the early stage of the tournament were dragged back to number 3. They will meet Nandimithra SC at Kelaniya Football ground on Sunday. Police SC will try to move up in the tournament from their current position as number 8 when they meet Java Lane SC at Police grounds on the same day.

Sri Lanka Navy battle it out with New Youngs SC at Welisara. The sailors must be confident to face their opponents as they have performed well so far, to stay well ahead of New Youngs SC.

The defending champions, Don Bosco SC will meet Blue Star SC at their home ground in Negambo to complete stage 12 matches. At the completion of stage one soldier M N M Isadeen had scored the most number of goals while A W M Farzeen of Blue Star SC is in second place. Sailor Chatura Sanjeewa has scored 6 goals to be in third place.
