(Architect), passed away Wednesday 14 December 2011 in Sydney, Australia. He
leaves behind his loving wife Rani, his beloved children Vathsala, Manju, Suren
and Sashi and son-in-law Nishakaran Thirunavukarasu, Kumar Sri-Pathma,
daughter-in-law Shyamala (nee Pathmanathan) and Nimalan Rajaratnam. He will be
missed by his adoring eldest granddaughter, Meera and her husband Ramanan, his
friend and eldest grandson Rishyan and his young grandchildren Sujan, Sarala,
Sarita, Maya and Shreya, beloved brother of the late Dr. V.S. Ponnudurai and Mr.
V.S. Selvanayagam, he is survived by his two younger brothers Dr. V.S.
Karunagaran and his wife Thevaki and Mr. V.S. Gananathan and his wife Sakunthala.
Born and raised in Jaffna, Ceylon. He was the son of Vellupillai Suppiah and
Thangacchimuttu. Fondly known to many as Architect Thurairajah. He will be
greatly missed by his family, friends and many in the Tamil community in Sydney
Australia and the global society. A funeral service will be held on Saturday 17
December 2011 on the arrival of the cortege at 12.15 p.m. at the Palm Chapel,
Macquarie Park Crematorium, Delhi and Plassey Roads, North Ryde, NSW 2113,
Australia.
