| The awards ceremony of the
handicrafts exhibition and competition among traditional
industrialists organized by the Traditional Industries and
Small Enterprise Development Ministry was held under the
patronage of Prime Minister D M Jayaratne at the BMICH,
Colombo on Wednesday. Here, industrialist Indika Udayangana
who won a gold medal receives his award from Prime Minister
Jayaratne. Minister Douglas Devananda, Deputy Minister
Weerakumara Dissanayake, National Crafts Council chairman Dr
Buddhi Keerthisena and IDB chairman Udaya Sri Kariyawasam
were also present. |

simple ceremony held yesterday morning. Here Culture and
