Welcome the dawn of Christmas in traditional splendour – with the
traditional of celebrating the Season in grand style since 1864, GFH is
perfectly poised to give yet another spell of splendid festivities,
which will linger in one’s memories. Gourmet cuisine covering the best
of East and West, Christmas specialties, sing along carols, choice of
wines and spirits and live entertainment will have all in the spirit of
the Season.
The Galle Face Hotel, Colombo – Sri Lanka’s Heritage in Hospitality
will host a bountiful Christmas Eve dinner buffets in all restaurants on
December 24 this season.
The Fine Dining Restaurant – 1864 which has exquisite interiors of
the finest wood, stone, water and light features will host a lavish 6
course dinner set menu on Xmas eve with Jazz entertainment for all
guests from 7.30 pm to 11pm.
The unique Verandah Restaurant will feature a 5 course dinner set
menu with carols and live entertainment during Xmas eve with Roast
turkey and all the trimmings.

The Sea Spray Restaurant is among the best places to dine al fresco
under candle light, with the twinkling lights of the ships in the
harbour providing ambient illumination. A grand Seafood BBQ dinner
buffet with pink sparkling wine on arrival will be on the cards for all
guests on Christmas Eve from 7.30 pm to 11 pm.
Christmas day is that special day when everyone gathers with their
near and dear in the spirit of goodwill and cheer amidst great
festivities. Celebrating this wondrous day at the Galle Face Hotel gives
a special meaning to the spirit of the Season.
The Chefs will delight all with a feast of the finest cuisine as well
as Seasonal specialties.
A traditional Christmas Brunch with activities for children will be
featured at the Verandah Restaurant on Christmas Day – December 25 from
11.30 am to 3 pm. An array of Sri Lankan and Western Cuisines, live
entertainment, magic show, fun bouncers and face painting for children
during the Xmas Brunch at the Verandah Restaurant.
A 5 course Christmas dinner set menu with roses for guests will be on
the cards at the 1864 – Fine dining Restaurant. |
