(4 for 28) helped SSC to reduce Tamil Union to a modest 143 with SSC
reaching the target for the loss of seven wickets at SSC grounds
yesterday in Premier Limited Over Tournament Tier A match.
Tamil Union 143 all out in 38.3 overs. (Jeewantha Kulathunga 35,
Ashan Priyanjan 28, Sachithra Senanayaka 4 for 28, Chaminda Bandara 3
for 27).
SSC 148 for 7 in 33.1 overs (Kaushal Lokuarachchi 43 no, Thilina
Kandambi 30, Jeewan Mendis 3 for 27, Sachithra Serasinghe 2 for 24).
NCC rout Lankan CC
Dashing left hand opener Upul Tharanga (72 in 32 balls) and Farveez
Maharoof (56 no) brought NCC an easy victory by seven wickets over
Lankan CC at NCC grounds on the same day. Kosala Kulasekera and Sohan
Boralessa shared three wickets each to restrain Lankan CC to a low
score.

Steady bowling by Sajeewa Weerakoon while other s timely supporting
him to restrict Bloomfield C and AC for 203 , Colts CC managed to
surpass their opponent’s score with a team effort from the batsman in
the last ball of the match in a group ‘B’ encounter.
Bloomfield C and AC 203 all out in 50 overs (Nadeera Nawela 61,
Karunanayaka 34, Gangodawila 34, S Weerakoon 4 for 39).
Colts CC 184 for 9 wickets in 43.2 overs (given target) for 9 in 50

A five wicket haul by Malinda Pushpakumara helped by A Janoda who
took three wickets, quickly put an end to Moors innings in 22 overs to
bring a massive 140 run win for Chilaw Marians at Moors ground
yesterday.
