NSB sports festival tremendous success

National Savings Bank (NSB) conducted their annual sports festival
successfully at the Colombo University grounds recently.

Those who won in zonal level meets during eight preliminary rounds,
contested for supremacy in the finals in Colombo. The initial round
meets were worked off in the respective areas and the final stage
included athletes covering islandwide branches of the bank.
The sport festival paved a platform for all NSB employees to gather
and enjoy themselves with their families.
The management has taken a decision to hold zonal sports meets every
year prior to the main sports meet. NSB General Manager/CEO H.M.
Hennayaka Bandara and the president of the sports society graced the
occasion as the chief guest while Senior Deputy GM Dammika Perera, DGMs
T.M.K. Bandara, Jagath Gamanayake, AGMs, Higher officials of the bank
and a large crowd along with family members of NSB employees
participated.
There were special events for children and they were also awarded
with gifts while the distribution of awards and certificates were made
by the invitees. |
