Sanka bags 7 for 55

Moratu Vidyalya Skipper Sanka Ramesh had a fine bowling spell of 7 for 55 to restrict St. Mary's College, Kegalle for 138 runs in their inter-schools first eleven cricket match which commenced at Moratuwa.

Vidyalians winning the toss and invited the visitors to take the first lease and they were soon in trouble and wickets fell at regular intervals. Only Viraj Jayamanne gave some resistance with an unbeaten 44 runs. The day one's came to a halt due to bad light at 3.30 p.m.
