Hameed Al Husseine soccer champs

The Past Prefects Association (PPA) of Zahira College, Colombo organized “Zahira Super Sixteen Soccer 7s 2011” tournament for the seventh consecutive year at the Zahira College Grounds, Colombo recently, Hameed Al Husseine College emerged Champions beating De Mezenod College, Kandana 1-0. The Chief Guest and main sponsor of the tournament .

The Phone Company International CEO O.H. Sulaiman, Principal, Zahira College Mohamed Jiffry, Group of 90 President Riza Zarook MMC, Zahira College Sports Council Chairman Tony Amith, Deputy Chairman M.S. Mazeer, PPA Founder President Shahey Faleel and Dialog Senior Manager Rizvi Farook distributed prizes and certificates. The winners received Rs. 70,000 cash award and champion trophy from chief guest.

Mohamed Rimzan of Hameedia Al Husseine College was the Most Valuable Player and Wesley College, Colombo received Best Fair Team award at the conclusion of the tournament.
