Suspect nabbed for jewellery theft

A suspect who had stolen jewellery was arrested by Ingiriya police yesterday. The suspect aged 28 is a resident of Baduraliya. Twenty four complaints had been made against him in Matugama, Bulathsinhala, Kalawana, Ayagama, Nivithigala, Horana, Thebuwana, Dodangoda, Baduraliya and Ingiriya police.

He had pawned the stolen jewellery and the Police recovered a part of the jewellery worth about Rs 300,000.
