Korean language test results out

The Korean language proficiency test results will be out today, the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) said. The results will be available through four special websites, www.slbfe.lk, www.epstoplk.hrdkorea.or.kr, www.hrdkorea.or.kr and www.eps.go.kr.

The applicants will be able to check the examination results by entering their index number.

Details of the selected candidates will be included in the Korean human resources website, it said.

SLFEB sources said that 9,300 will be selected of the 44,214 who sat for the Korean language examination held recently.

It said that those selected will face an interview and will undergo a physical fitness test before departure to Korea.

The Bureau said that although it issued 50,636 applications this year for the examination, only 44,214 sat for the examination. Twenty one who sat for the examination had cheated and legal action has been initiated against them for examination fraud.

Representatives from the Korean government observed the examination this year and have expressed their fullest satisfaction on the conduct of the examination.
