Hotel show 2011

Hotel, Hospitality and Food 2011, the South Asia's premier hotel suppliers and services three day exhibition was opened yesterday.

The exhibition will comprise many events and there will be an inter hotel culinary competition organized by the Chefs' Guild of Lanka. Among other highlights are the "art of coffee", a demonstration which will run in to detail with everything that is needed to make a great cup of coffee and the Hotel Uniform fashion show that will focus on the entire range of hotel uniforms showcasing some of the finest Italian designs. Geocycle waste management goes online

Geocycle a business unit of Holcim (Lanka) Limited and the waste management arm of Holcim Limited will make their web presence on October, 28, at 7.00 PM at Tamarind Trees, Katunayake. Geocycle has been operating for more than eight yea rs in Sri Lanka and providing environmentally responsible waste management solutions for over 200 local and multinational industries.

The web site will be launched by Chairman of Central Environment Authority, Charitha Herath. Web will further enrich the interaction between industrial community and Geocycle in providing waste management solutions.
