Mobitel customers win at Mobitel Double Bonanza

Mobitel recently conducted the prize presentation ceremony for the winners of the August 2011 Double Bonanza reward scheme at the Mobitel Head Office in Colombo. Mobitel's Brand Ambassador Mahela Jayawardena was present.

Mobitel Double Bonanza is the pioneer sweepstake scheme within the telecommunication industry in Sri Lanka to offer two motor cars as grand prizes for post paid and pre paid mobile segments each month and has rewarded a large number of Mobitel customers consecutively since its inception in October 2009.

The recipient of the brand new Suzuki Maruti Alto K10 Motor car for August 2011 in the pre-paid draw was Yuhaniya Rasheed of Borella while Deepal Daminda Madurangana of Kamburugamuwa, Mudiyanselage Samitha Isuru of Kurunegala, H.M.H.R. Herath of Lokahettiya and U. Mohamed Tharik of Pubbogama walked away with ASUS Laptop computers inclusive of 3.5G High Speed Internet Dongles. R.L.G. The Mobitel Double Bonanza reward scheme comprises 24 Suzuki Maruti Alto K10 cars and 105 Asus Laptop computers with 3.5G high speed internet dongles to be won throughout 2011 on monthly basis and weekly basis respectively.

Stemming from the success of the SMART Recharge Bonanza for pre paid customers, the scheme has now been opened to post paid and broadband customers including pre paid customers of the Mobitel family until December 2011. Mobitel customers can find out their eligibility to participate in the competition and the draw by dialling #151#. However, in order to qualify for the competition, the Mobitel number has to be registered in compliance with the Mobitel Subscriber Registration Policy. Registration status can be checked by dialling #132.

The winners of the Mobitel Double Bonanza draw are selected under the supervision of M/s Ernst and Young, External auditors of Mobitel and officials of the Western Province Revenue Department.
