House for family health worker for bringing honour to Sri Lanka

P.D.Lalitha Padmini, who was awarded the best family health worker of
the Asia Pacific, will be awarded with a fully-fledged house under the
Janasevana Kepakaru housing scheme of the Construction, Engineering
Services, Housing and Common Amenities Ministry to honour her
achievement.
She was selected the best family health worker in the Asia Pacific
region and one among four best family health workers in the world in a
competition held in Hong Kong. Over 1,100 family health workers
participated in the competition.
Padmini, a resident of Aralaganwila, Dimbulagala, lives in a small
stall room attached to a shop in her village.
She was crowned the outstanding family health worker in Sri Lanka, to
appreciate her dedicated service to the people in her region.
Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities
Minister Wimal Weerawansa directed ministry officials to expedite the
construction of the house for her. |
