Youth camp to promote unity

A special youth camp under the title Sahodarathwaye Tharuna Ekamuthuwa has been organized by the National Languages and Social Integration Ministry for the promotion of unity and brotherhood among ethnicities from today to September 25 in Galle.

This youth camp will be participated by members of all ethnicities.

A training programme on Sinhala and Tamil languages, a discussion participated by Sinhala and Tamil poets on their role in promoting brotherhood and a concert conducted by renowned lyricist Rathnasri Wijesinghe on aesthetic analysis of the ethnic brotherhood are some of the main events at the youth camp.

National Languages and Social Integration Ministry Media Secretary Mahendra Harishchandra said that arrangements have been made to conduct this three-day camp.

The youth camp will be held under the patronage of National Languages and Social Integration Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara today at the Management Development and Training Institute, Wakwella, Galle.
