Schoolboys turned robbers nabbed
Suspects aged between eight and 13:
Four schoolboys were taken into custody by the
Ingiriya Police Crime Investigation Unit for the alleged theft of
stationery, food items, groceries, textiles, mobile phones, a stock
of ginger and other items from houses and shops.

Sea cucumber seized by navy
A Sri Lanka naval patrol craft attached to the
Northern Naval Command intercepted a suspicious fishing craft off
Kovilam in the Northern seas on September 21, 2011 and apprehended
four persons who had attempted to smuggle dried sea cucumber.
