Cooper oblivious to crowd boos
Wallabies’ playmaker Quade Cooper turned a deaf ear to booing during
his first appearance at the World Cup against Italy at North Harbour on
Sunday.
The booing started as Wallaby hate-figure flyhalf Cooper lined up his
first penalty kick attempt in the opening minutes of Australia’s
impressive 32-6 win over the Azzurri.
Cooper has been tagged ‘public enemy number one’ since his arrival in
rugby-obsessed New Zealand.
