GS nabbed in molest case

The Galnewa Police arrested a Grama Sevaka suspected of molesting a woman aged 20 and taking nude photos of her. The man who was arrested is aged 30 and a father of two. The man was arrested following a complaint made by the woman seven days ago to the Galnewa Police.

According to the complaint the victim's brother is a friend of the Grama Sevaka officer.

The Grama Sevaka officer had gone to meet the victim's brother on the day of the incident. Only the victim had been at home. The Grama Sevaka officer had then molested the woman and taken her nude photos, it is alleged. The woman is due to be produced before the Judicial Medical Officer and the suspect before court.
