‘Divi Neguma, a great success’
Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa has pointed out that
there is today a tendency by the ordinary people to grow vegetables in
their home gardens.
The minister said the people had been given a new lease of life with
the launching of the Divi Neguma national programme.

in the local market to this tendency of the people, expressed his
gratitude to everybody who extended their co-operation to make the Divi
Neguma national programme a success which is a concept under the Mahinda
Chintana new vision. The minister mentioned this at the Divi Neguma
Agricultural, Livestock Resources and Fishery Industrial Sub Committee
