Navy helps arrest heroin dealer

Naval troops attached to the Naval Deployment, Colombo South in the Western Naval Area assisted the Police in the arrest of a person in possession of 13 packets of heroin at Dehiwela Junction on September 2.

The arrest was made with the assistance of the members of the Mount Lavinia Police Special Unit.

The suspect along with heroin amounting to 410 milligrams was handed over to the Mount Lavinia Police for further investigations.
