Lanka-Bangladesh Business Co-operation Council formed

Sri Lanka Bangladesh Business Co-operation Council of the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka was inaugurated last week The Council was formed to promote bilateral trade and exchange technical know-how and information technology between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

The Council welcomes more members to join the Council. The Council has also planned many activities and one of them is a proposed business delegation to Bangladesh in December 2011 to coincide with a leading trade exhibition in Dhaka. Businessman who are interested are welcome to join in the delegation.

A get-together to felicitate this occasion will be held at the Colombo Golf Club on September 8 and a website will be launched on this day. The High Commissioner of Bangladesh Mahbub uz Uzzaman will attend the occasion.
