Sparkling knock of 105 by Lochana

A sparkling knock of 105 runs in 120 deliveries with eleven boundaries and three sixes by St. Servatius captain Lochana Mohotti saw his team winning their under 15 division II second round match against Mahanama MV Panadura by 165 runs on Wednesday.

Batting first St. Servatius scored 291 runs for 8 wickets in their 50 overs. Pamod Weerasekara (63 off 71 deliveris with five fours and five sixes) and Randika de Silva (53 off 66 deliveries with eight boundaries) contributed to the total Lahiru Jayaruwan claimed 4/41.

The Mahanama batsmen were tied down by the St. Servatius spinners and only managed 126 runs for 9 wickets in their 50 overs. Isuru Leelarathna bowled extremely well conceding only 12 runs in his 10 overs while claiming three wickets.

Randika de Silva (2/11) and Ashen Deemantha (2/19) were the others who claimed wickets.
