DIMO CMD conducts presentations

Held at Colombo and Paasikudah :

DIMO Construction Machinery Division (DIMO CMD) recently arranged a series of presentations to their customers - fleet owners and corporate.

Top principals from the UK, Singapore and India were flown in to do the presentations which covered a wide spectrum. The first event was held at Waters Edge, where 150 key customers were invited for the presentations.


Head of Fluid Management Systems-DIMO, Chandima Samarasinghe, Senior Engineer-Komatsu Singapore, Nandha Kumar, Strategic IT and Sales Manager-Komatsu Singapore, Shivaprasad Ganiga, General Manager-Komatsu Singapore, Noriyuki Ide, GM-Construction Machinery Division-DIMO, Chaminda Ranawana, Head of Product Service Support-Construction Machinery Division-DIMO, Andy Linham, Regional Manager-Gomaco International - UK, Regional Sales Manager-Bomag Singapore Andy Quek, and GM Marketing - Schwing Stetter India P. Sudhakar.

Presentations were done by Komatsu Asia Pacific, Singapore, Strategic IT and Sales Manager Shivaprasad Ganiga, Bomag Gmbh Singapore Oceania cum Pacific Regional Sales Manager Andy Quek, Gomaco International Limited, England Regional Manager Andy Linham, Schwing Stetter India Marketing General Manager P. Sudhakar and Everdigm Corp Singapore Regional Sales Manager Ian Lee.

Gomaco International Limited is the latest addition to the DIMO family. Gamaco Corporation manufactures curb and gutter machines, concrete slipform pavers, placer/spreaders, trimmer/placers, cylinder finishers, canal machinery and accessories ideal for any concrete construction project. Gamaco has their headquarters in Iowa USA, with their international office in England.

The next event was held at Maalu Maalu Resort Paasikudah, where over 100 customers and fleet owners from the East were invited for the presentations. This is the first time that DIMO has arranged such an event for the Construction Industry in the East. Komatsu Asia Pacific Singapore, Application Engineering Department Senior Engineer Shivaprasad Ganiga and DIMO fluid management systems Head Nandha Kumar, Andy Quek, Andy Linham, P. Sudhakar and Chandima Samarasinghe did presentations on their respective products.

The East of Sri Lanka is experiencing a substantial growth in infrastructure development with many hotels being planned along the coastline. Participants appreciated these presentations and said that exposure to new technologies from the best in the world would certainly help their work in the construction industry.

DIMO Construction Machinery Division General Manager Chaminda Ranawana said that DIMO is proud to represent the best engineered construction machinery brands in the world, and that this is first time that top principals from five top brands have done such a series of presentations together.
