Prestige Automobile ComBank, partnership
Prestige Automobile will offer handsome trade discounts on the
standard price of a BMW 5 series car leased through Commercial Bank, up
to November 15.

Complementing this discount, Commercial Bank will offer very
attractive lease rentals and will arrange for special insurance schemes
for lessees through Commercial Insurance Brokers, an associate of the
Bank.
Discounts on prices and attractive rentals are also on offer for
other BMW models sold by Prestige Automobile and leased through
Commercial Bank during this period. “We believe that present and
prospective customers of Sri Lanka’s best bank should enjoy exclusive
benefits like these,” said Nugent Kapuwatte, Head of Leasing and
Personal Loans at the Bank.
“This promotion, just weeks after our ‘Leasing Month,’ which also

He added that in addition to other benefits, Commercial Bank will
leverage its extensive network of 200 service points to offer a speedy

The bank launched its inaugural Leasing Month in July this year with
tie-ups with several leading automobile vendors and introduced a range
of benefits for customers including competitive rental rates and special
insurance covers.

Range Rover celebrates in Sri Lanka
British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, John Rankin, together with UK
Trade and Investment and Frontier Automotives (Pvt.) Ltd. hosted a
reception to celebrate Range Rovers in Sri Lanka at Westminster House
last week.

The reception showcased the excellence of UK design and innovation
through a line of Range Rovers on display, from the 1970s to the latest
2011 models.
Manufactured by the British company, Land Rover, the classic and
modern vehicles on display highlighted the UK’s expertise in innovation.
The automobile industry in the UK is a crucial sector of the UK
Economy, generating a manufacturing turnover of œ51 billion,
contributing over 10 percent of the UK’s total exports and supporting
around 800,000 jobs.
British High Commissioner John Rankin said the Range Rover stands for
individualism, authenticity, freedom, adventure and supremacy - akin to
the values that modern Britain stands for and also responsible for the
vehicle’s diverse appeal.
