Easy win for Al Azhar

Al Azhar college registered a six wicket victory over Sri Chandananda
College, Kandy in a Division III Schools Under-17 cricket match played
at Al Azhar College ground recently.
Visitors batted first and Azharian bowlers restricted them for 115
runs in 23.2 overs. M.M.M. Fahim impressed the crowd with excellent
bowling performance as he picked 4/40 while Hafish Mohamed and
Rahmathullah shared 3/31 and 2/13 respectively. A.B. Kodippili who
scored 28 for Chandannanda College was the highest scorer for the
losers.
Azharians reached the target in 22.1 overs by losing four wickets.
