Timex brings YOVA

Introducing an effective tool for time management and continuous connectivity, Timex B.P.O (Pvt) Ltd has launched a service that facilitates modern lifestyles.

The service is named as YOVA (Your Own Virtual Assistant) and is on a test run at present. The product development investment is Rs 25 million and more investment will be made to expand the service further.

The service we launch is for the niche market and it will be useful for both individuals and corporate clients. Though, this service is new to Sri Lanka in many countries it is a high demand service.

"We will expand our service to international markets, especially to the Middle-East and even the USA with capabilities to meet the demand and with perfection," Timex B.P.O. Chairman A.S. Ashraff told Daily News Business.

"This is a robust and flexible model where reminders, secretarial and directory services are on offer. We will introduce value additions with the increase in the service demand," he said.

"There are already 30 to 40 clients who experience this service and we are confident that many will seek this service as it is cost effective and prompt. There is a dedicated team of 15 staff members at present and with the wide reach of the service the numbers will go up to 150 by the end of this year," he said.

There are options for customers to even secure the service for a short time and they could extend the service to suit their requirements.

The service could replace traditional receptionist work where 100 percent efficiency could be guaranteed. There is always a feed back in the form of a SMS and this will ensure the connectivity even in an absence of the relevant party.
