From Kiri Vehera all flower stalls will be renovated and painted, all
the lamp posts along the Kiri Vehera road will be given a fresh coat of
paint, garbage disposal bins will be placed at the Kiri Vehera and
Kataragama Devala premises, name boards will be renovated, 'Lakpeyawa'
and 'Iramusu' dansalas will be open day and night and all the lamp posts
in the Kataragama Devala premises will be given a facelift.
Other activities will include the renovation of changing rooms for
women pilgrims near the Menik river, the display of inspiring messages
and slogans on notice boards, the provision of 200 plastic water cans
for use in toilets and renovation of 20 cement benches built by the
company on either side of the holy land for pilgrims to rest.
