People in Anuradhapura thank President Mahinda Rajapaksa for his decision to stage the Deyata Kirula Development Exhibition 2012 at ‘Oyamaduwa’ said North Central Provincial Council member S M Ranjith. He said this during a recent visit to Kuda Messalawa, Kahatagasdigiliya to oversee development activities in progress there.

He said that Oyamaduwa, a rural village bordered by Tantirimale, Wilpattu and Vilachchiya faced the brunt of the terrorist threat in the past. “It will attain rapid development concurrent to the Deyata Kirula exhibition as there will be massive infrastructure development which will open more income avenues and improve the local economy,” he said.
