Motorcyclist dies in accident

A motorcyclist was killed on the spot when the bike he was riding collided against a motor car. The motorcyclist was without a helmet when the accident occurred.

The accident happened at Chavakachcheri Sangathanai Thamotherampillai road on Sunday June 11. The pillion rider was also seriously injured and admitted to Jaffna Teaching hospital.

The motorcyclist was identified as Visvalingham Suntheralingham (50) of Chavakachcheri Meenadchi Amman Kovillady.

The pillion rider was S. Kiritharan (31) of Sanghathanai Saratha road.
