Victory Parade at Galle Face on May 27

The national War Heroes memorial ceremony to offer the nation's salute to the valiant men who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the motherland will be held under President Mahinda Rajapaksa's patronage on May 27.

Around 8,700 Security Forces and Police personnel will join the victory parade at the Galle Face green.The main War Heroes commemoration ceremony will be conducted near the War Heroes cenotaph at the Parliamentary grounds under President Rajapaksa's patronage.
