SVAT seminar

The Exporters Association of Sri Lanka will conduct a seminar titled All You Need to Know Relating to SVAT - Simplified Value Added Tax (SVAT) Scheme on Monday, May 30 at 2.30 p.m. at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Auditorium, Colombo 02.

Manufacturers, Suppliers and other groups involved in the Supply Chain to Exporters and other VAT exempt businesses will benefit from this interactive session which will address concerns and clarification of the new scheme and its implementation methodology. Presentations will be made by Deputy Commissioner General, VAT Unit Department of Inland Revenue Mallika Samarasekera and other key officials of the Inland Revenue Department.

Panelist Ernst & Young Partner Duminda Hulangamuwa, will discuss and highlight issues and difficulties faced by different categories of taxpayers coming under this scheme.
