SLASSCOM launches directlink

To enhance IT, BPO industry talent pool:

Mindset change is the key to develop the country and it is time for Sri Lanka to change its way of thinking on the big picture, Higher Education Ministry Secretary Dr Sunil J Nawaratne said. Ratmalana airport to go for major facelift

The Government is planning to develop the Ratmalana airport into a city airport this year. In addition facilities at the Ampara, Jaffna and Koggala airports will be also upgraded. Improvements to the existing terminal building, repair to the runway, taxiway and apron, reconfiguration to the aerodrome for the use of corporate jet traffic would be done as a short-term development project of the Ratmalana airport.

Workshop on cooperation against cybercrime

Sri Lanka will host an international workshop on cooperation against cybercrime today and tomorrow at Hilton Colombo Residence (JAIC Hilton). The inauguration of the two day workshop at 9.30 a.m. today. The welcome address will be delivered by Advisor to the President and ICTA Chairman Professor P W Epasinghe.
