Blast rocks NW Pakistan
PAKISTAN: A Government-run school was blown up by unidentified
militants in northwestern Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa on
early Wednesday morning, local media reported. According to local TV
DAWN News, some unidentified militants used explosive materials to blow
up a middle school in Darra Adam Khel area.
No causalities were reported in the blast as it took place early in
the morning and there were no students in the school. This is not the
first time when militants blew up schools in northwestern Pakistan.
According to official statistics 500 schools have been destroyed in
militant attacks across Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa and the Federally
