Death of Sabharatnam

The Press Complaints Commission (PCC) condoled the sudden demise of veteran Journalist T Sabharatnam who was a member of its Dispute Resolution Council.

T. Sabharatnam served in both the Print and the Electronic media for more than 50 years.

He worked in the publications of Lake House such as Thinakaran, Dinamina, and Daily News.

He was a skillful journalist who compiled articles on the political situation of foreign countries. He also worked as a political, science, current affairs and a feature writer. He passed away at the age of 79 leaving behind three children. The funeral will take place at the Mt Lavinia Cemetery on Wednesday March 9 at 10 a.m.
