Jaffna Investor Forum:

Colombo business delegation to attend

FCCISL will facilitate a visit by a high-profile 19-member business delegation from Colombo to the Investor Forum to be held in conjunction with the Jaffna International Trade Fair, to be held from January 21 to 23 at the grounds adjoining Durayappah Stadium, organized by the FCCISL and the Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre in association with the Yarlpanam Chamber.

The Forum is organized with the focus on SMEs development and its attention will be directed towards investment opportunities in Sri Lanka following the end of the North and East conflict, to create a platform for importers, exporters, service providers, buyers, sellers, those looking for investment opportunities, investment promotion agencies, exporters who wish to find products for export, local suppliers of finished products and raw materials and logistics providers to meet at one venue.

Members of the delegation will attend the Forum on January 21 followed by one-to-one business meetings with leading business personalities in Jaffna and India.

Relevant presentations and important business topics would be taken up for discussion at the Forum to enhance and further develop the business capacity. On January 22 they will participate at a special Institutional Forum, where the Government Agent and the Land Commissioner will be in attendance.
