Valampuri thieves nabbed

Two suspects with a Gauri Valampuri in their possession at Kiribathgoda-Hunupitiya New Road were arrested following a tip off last Thursday (23) by the Meegahawatta Police while they were pretending to be customers. The suspects were trying to dispose this invaluable Gauri Valampuri for Rs 50 lakhs.

The suspects residents of Hokandara and Kiribathgoda were produced before the Wattala Magistrate Courts and released on bail.

The Police made this arrest led by OIC, Meegahawatta Police, IP, Srineeka Sanjeewa Jayakody.
