Mobike thief nabbed

A suspect wanted for stealing five brand new motor cycles worth Rs 561,000 was arrested at Narammala on Sunday. The suspect Colabage Priyadarsana Fernando, 24, of Halwala had committed several previous robberies in the North Western Province, OIC Sujeewa Walpola said.

Produced before Kurunegala Chief Magistrate Buddhika Ragala, the suspect was remanded.

Kurunegala police are investigating.
