Indian Defence Secretary Pradeep Kumar who is on a three day official
visit to Sri Lanka paid a courtesy call on his Sri Lankan counterpart
Gotabhaya Rajapaksa last evening.
During his visit, the Indian Defence Secretary will hold discussions
with key defence officials to strengthen bilateral defence ties with
post-war Sri Lanka. Both Secretaries exchanged plaques to mark the
occasion.
Later the Indian delegation headed by the Defence Secretary had a
conference with key defence officials including Chief of the Defence
Staff and Air Force Commander Air Chief Marshal Roshan Gunathilaka, Army
Commander Lt. Gen Jagath Jayasooriya and Navy Commander Vice Admiral
Thisara Samarasingha. The Indian delegation comprises Smitha Nagaraj
