Under 13 hockey from tomorrow

The annual Kandy District Schools under 13 girls and boys hockey tournament organized by the Kandy District Schools Hockey Association will be worked off at St Anthony’s Girls College grounds, Katugastota from November 3rd to 5th.

This is the first time a hockey tournament is being played at this newly opened venue with the old girls of the schools playing a major role with the present Principal Padma Lekamge to construct the playground.

The schools participating in the girls tournament are Seetha Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Pushpadana Girls College, St Anthony’s Girls College, Hemmali Balika Vidyalaya, Gothami Balika Vidyalaya, Girls High School.

In the tournament for boys Dharmaraja College, Kingswood College, Trinity College, St Sylvester’s College, Sri Sumangala College, St Anthony’s College, Menikdiwela Central College, Vidyartha College will be in the fray.
