Narcotics detected in FTZ

A special operation was conducted by Katunayaka Police to detect the sale of drugs in the Free Trade Zone (FTZ) at Katunayaka and the surrounding areas.

The police raids detected wide scale sale of heroin, ganja, packets of drugs mixed with arecanuts, drugs mixed with tobacco, packets of drugs mixed with madanamothagam, packets of Babul. Police took into custody foreign cigarettes and capsules of medicine that is given to mentally sick persons. Police took five suspects into custody.
