The Past Prefects Association of Zahira College, Colombo organized “Zahira Super Sixteen Soccer 7s 2010” tournament for the sixth consecutive year at the Zahira College Grounds, Colombo recently. Zahira College Colombo won the Champion Cup beating Isipathana College 3-2.

The Chief Guest and main sponsor of the tournament The Phone Company CEO O H Sulaiman, Principal, Zahira College, Colombo Mohamed Jiffry, Board of Governors Chairman Fowzul Hameed, secretary Rizvi Niyas, Parliamentarian A H M Azwer, Refrees Development Officer Muhiseeen Ariff, Group of ‘90 President Riza Zarook and National Player Naina Mohamed distributed prizes and certificates.

The winners received Rs. 50,000/- cash award and champion trophy from chief guest and the Plate Champion Rs 20,000 cash awards received by St. Joshph’s College, Colombo. Mohamed Shazny of Zahira College Colombo received the Most Valuable Player award and Manipai Hindu College, Jaffna received Best Fair Team at this tournament.
