Cuba, Panama assess bilateral agenda
PANAMA: Representatives of the national assemblies of Cuba and Panama
will meet before the end of 2010 to discuss a broad agenda of issues of
interest to both countries, local legislative authorities said. The
First Vice President of the Panamanian Parliament Manuel Cohen told
Prensa Latina that the meeting is scheduled for November 15.
Both Parliaments will also hold talks in Havana to be attended by the
current National Assembly of Panama President Jose Muñoz on a date yet
to be defined.
Cohen said that they will discuss a diverse agenda during a meeting
where they also will draft a declaration aimed at strengthening the good
