Sumedha and Niluka best athletes

Sumedha Perera and Niluka Damayanthi were named as the most outstanding athletes in the men's and women's category respectively at the annual Aidex 2010 Sports Festival worked off at the Race Course ground in Reid Avenue yesterday.

In the junior age group category Mohamed Rishard clinched the Boys under 15 Best Athlete and Harshani Kumari took the award in the Girls under 15 tournament.

Meanwhile M S Nishantha from Sri Lanka Army was named Best Athlete in the competition among the forces.
