ICPM Conference today
Pro Vice-Chancellor and Monash University Malaysia President Prof
Robin Pollard will be in Sri Lanka to deliver the keynote address at the
Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) annual conference
today.

The conference will be held at the Taj Samudra Hotel.
Since its inception in 1998, Monash University Sunway campus is
increasingly becoming a popular destination for Sri Lankan students.
As a fully fledged campus of Monash University, graduates of Monash
University Malaysia enjoy equal recognition for their Monash degree as
their counterparts in Australia. Prior to his current role, Professor
Pollard was Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development and International) at
the University of New England. He is no stranger to Malaysia, having
been the Foundation Professor and Head, School of Business and
Information Technology at the Monash campus from 1998 to 2000.
This presentation will be a main feature of the Annual Conference of
Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) in Sri Lanka. The
theme of the conference will be "The role of business in transforming
the economy" and his presentation will be on "Meeting Youth aspirations
for University education".
ICPM is a professional body that offers a professional qualification
and membership for those seeking a career progression in management. Its
membership covers a wide range of professions such as accountancy,
marketing, management, medical, engineering, architecture and human
