China opens trade office in El Salvador
El Salvador: The People's Republic of China will soon open a
commercial office in the capital after the recent launch in Beijing of
the Chinese-Salvadoran Chamber of Commerce President told a
representative of the future entity.
Chinese-Salvadoran Friendship Association Manuel Flores told a local
radio station that the new unit will join the Chinese office set up in
Panama and the Dominican Republic, countries which Chine does not
maintain diplomatic relations.
In the case of El Salvador, ties with China were so far developed
through organizations of Costa Rica, he said.
Flores said to have the support of the China Council for the
Promotion of International Trade.
Flores also the Quezaltepeque Mayor about 25 miles west of the
Capital, heads for seven years the Association of Friendship with China,
both in El Salvador and Central America.
