Fitch affirms SLT at ‘B+’; Revises outlook to positive

Fitch Ratings affirmed Sri Lanka Telecom Plc’s (SLT) foreign currency issuer default rating (IDR) at ‘B+’ and revised its Outlook to Positive from Stable.

Employment for the disabled : More than 250 disabled persons have found permanent employment through Employer’s Federation of Ceylon (EFC) disability employment network, according to theEFC. They also have a project to train visually impaired persons in ICT skills. Over 60 visually impaired persons are following this training program. Out of them 35 persons have now successfully completed Modules I and II of the training program. Awarding certificates for these visually impaired persons was held yesterday. EFC Chairman K.
